About Us
Pack 93 is a Cub Scout Pack located in Orcutt, California and is sponsored by the Calvary Church. We are an active pack that schedules at least one event per month year-round with one or more “signature” events during the year. All “outings” are optional with Den Meetings and annual ceremonies being the only meetings where attendance is strongly encouraged. Signature events in recent years have included family ski trips to the Sierras, camping at a local state beach, camping at the local Air Force Base, and trips to spend a night aboard an aircraft carrier with other scouts. These signature events serve to enhance the traditional scouting experiences such as pine wood derby, firebowls, conservation projects and laying a foundation for good character development in young boys.
Pack 93 prides itself in its family orientation. Siblings and parents are encouraged to attend all the events. The leadership of Pack 93 understands that modern families have complex needs and we seek to find a place that balances traditional scouting activities with the importance of spending family time with one another.
Pack 93 participates in two annual fundraisers designed to pay the scouts way on activities throughout the year. In the fall there is the national popcorn sales event and in the Spring, Pack 93 puts on a highly successful local barbecue.
